Supporting education facilities in a unique setting
In January 2025, WT India was engaged to provide pre- and post-contract cost management and quantity surveying services for a series of key projects on campus, including a new library, performing arts centre, and interim multi-purpose hall.
From the project’s inception, our team collaborated with MUWCI’s design, project management, and procurement partners to understand requirements and develop a robust procurement strategy.
Driving cost certainty and flexibility
Recognising risks in design, quality, timelines, and cost, we recommended a multi-package approach instead of a single General Contractor contract. This strategy improved cost control, provided flexibility, and reduced risk exposure.
To ensure value for money, we carried out benchmarking studies against comparable education projects. This process gave the client confidence in their budget decisions while providing transparency around costs.
