WT Partnership was engaged by Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (SHFA), on behalf of NSW Government to undertake a Broad Order Cost Estimates for the New Sydney Convention & Entertainment Centre and Refurbished Sydney Entertainment Centre Masterplan.

The proposed objectives of the Masterplan address the overall functionality of the precinct, investigate the expansion of the existing Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre (SCEC), the refurbishment / redevelopment of the Sydney Entertainment Centre (SEC), whilst maintaining the SCEC as a world class facility.

The Masterplan considers a number of external factors, including the age of the existing facilities, opportunities in the revitalisation of the Southern precinct, the current Darling Walk development, connection with and into the surrounding precincts such as Chinatown, Powerhouse Museum, UTS, and any private sector development opportunities, as well as the connection with the forthcoming Barangaroo project.
